武蔵野美術大学視覚伝達デザイン学科を卒業。グラフィックデザイナーおよびアートディレクターとして電通に勤務。
2022年からアメリカに移住し、日本とアメリカ２拠点でフリーのデザイナー、クリエイターとして活動を続けている。
主な作品形態はイラストレーションやコラージュなどのビジュアルアート。
デザイン技術を活かしたアートブック制作にも精力的に取り組んでおり、制作した作品の多くを、アートブックの形にまとめて発表している。
近年では他作家とのコラボレーションとして、他アーティストの作品集の制作も行なった。
代表作“The goats my father talked about”等、複数書籍が全国書店で販売されている。

八多の作品は、時代性やジェンダーを感じさせない表現を持ち、“いつどこで誰が作ったかわからない匿名性”が一つの特徴となっている。
また、強く印象的なビジュアルの中にアンニュイさと陽気さの両方を兼ね備えている。
制作においてのインスピレーションの源は大学時代に出会ったフランスの画家ラウル・デュフィの作品群であり、
19世紀ヨーロッパの装飾美術にみられるような“視覚的な悦びを刺激するようなイメージ”
“一瞬で消費されるイメージではなく、モノとして価値を感じてもらえるような佇まい”の作品を作り出すことを目指している。

Graduated from Musashino Art University, majoring in Visual Communication Design, 
she worked at Dentsu.inc as a graphic designer and art director. Since 2023, she has been based in the United States, 
continuing her work as a freelance designer and creator across both Japan and the U.S.

Her primary mediums include illustration and collage among other forms of visual art. 
She has actively engaged in creating art books, compiling many of her visual artworks into this format for presentation.
 Recently, she has also produced collections of other artists' works through collaborations. 
Her representative work, "The goats my father talked about," along with several other books, are sold in bookstores nationwide.

The inspiration for her creations stems from her university encounters with the works of the French painter Raoul Dufy and 
the decorative arts of 19th century Europe, which evoke "visual delight" and aim to create works that are valued not just as fleeting images 
but as objects with lasting worth. Her works are characterized by their timeless, gender-neutral expressions and an anonymity 
that leaves it unclear when, where, or by whom they were made. They also blend both Cheerfulness and a sense of Melancholy in their striking visuals.
